Access control and video on Ubuntu — on-premises

EAS installs on your Linux server (Ubuntu 22.04+): access, video, and sensors in one web admin. No Windows client, no cloud lock-in for site operations.

EAS install command on Ubuntu

Why Ubuntu and an on-premises server

One-command install

The site script downloads the full release and starts services. A typical pilot reaches the admin UI in about 30 minutes.

Works offline on site

Passages, journal, and the map stay available on the LAN. Internet is for hub updates and license activation.

ACS + video + floor plan

Not a separate Windows ACS and not a separate VMS: one UI on a Linux server with an interactive facility map.

Hardware out of the box

ZKTeco C3, Hikvision and RTSP cameras, MagicAir / Aqara / Home Assistant sensors.

How to deploy

  1. Get a trial key by email
  2. Run the install command on clean Ubuntu
  3. Activate the license and add a controller
  4. Upload the floor plan and connect cameras

FAQ

Which Ubuntu version is required?

We recommend clean Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS or newer. Install targets native systemd — no Docker.

Do we need Windows for the admin UI?

No. Admin is a web UI in the browser. The client OS can be anything.

Can we install without internet?

First install downloads the package from the hub (internet required). After that the site runs on the LAN; updates are optional.
