Install the EAS trial

An Astra key activates only on Astra. Switch the OS above — Astra shows its own install command. ACS on Astra Linux.
Step 2. Trial key (can be after install)
Enter a work email and server OS — the key is emailed (Ubuntu 30 days, Astra SE 1.8 beta 90 days, or Windows 90 days). Activate in admin after install.
The key has been sent by email.
Check email (and Spam). Admin → License → paste the key. Term: 30 days (Ubuntu) or 90 days (Astra beta / Windows) from activation.
The key is also available in your personal account - log in using the same email. — Sign in.
Step 1. Server install (for IT)
Forward this command to the server admin or copy it yourself. GA target is clean Ubuntu 22.04+. For Astra SE 1.8 use the beta installer (see the Astra page).
What this command does
- Downloads the official EAS installer from asceas.ru (not a random GitHub).
- Installs Ubuntu systemd services: EAS server, database, and ACS gateway when needed.
- Accepts the user agreement via EAS_ACCEPT_EULA=1 in the command — no hidden prompts.
- The script URL above is open — you can download and read it first.

Check: curl -fsSL …/install-eas-from-hub.sh | sha256sum — the digest must match.
- Download Ubuntu install script (.sh)
- Download EAS package (.tar.gz) · online install — needs OS mirrors / usually PyPI
- Download Linux/Astra offline fat (.tar.gz) · no PyPI; OS apt mirrors still needed
- Copy the command for IT or run it yourself on Astra SE 1.8 with internet access.
- The command downloads eas-native from the hub and runs deploy/astra/install.sh (no Ubuntu mirrors).
- Open http://<server>:8000/admin and paste the trial key on the License tab.

- Download setup.exe · GUI wizard
- Download offline ZIP · no PyPI
- Download setup.exe to an admin PC or the server.
- Run the wizard, wait for EAS services, open http://localhost:8000/admin.
- Paste the trial key on the License tab.

Before you install
- The trial key is bound to the OS: Ubuntu (30 days), Astra (90 days), or Windows (90 days). A key for another OS will not activate.
- Windows: setup.exe and offline ZIP — /download/windows/. Ubuntu/Astra: .sh, online .tar.gz, and offline fat — /docs/ and /docs/install/. Fat is shared for Ubuntu and Astra.
- On Windows Server, Home Assistant runs only on a separate Linux machine (EAS uses IP + token). There is no on-box HA on Windows.
- On Astra in advanced mode, EAS can run alongside MIC after server prep with an engineer. This is not certification and not MRD support.

Minimum pilot
- Open EAS Admin — http://<server>:8000/admin (login in /etc/eas/eas.bootstrap.credentials)
- License tab — paste the trial key and click Activate
- Add a ZKTeco C3 controller — Equipment section

- Home Assistant and sensors — when you need telemetry on the floor plan
